Pursuing a full range of green and clean technologies

Northland Power develops and operates projects using proven green and clean power generation technologies and fuel sources.

Green power uses renewable energy sources, including wind, water, solar and biomass. These sources are sustainable over the long term and address growing environmental concerns. All of Northland’s renewable technologies are eligible under Ontario’s Feed-in Tariff or FIT Program.

Clean power technologies, such as natural-gas-fired power generation, produce low greenhouse gas emissions.

Because Northland has fully developed in-house engineering expertise, we are ideally positioned to evaluate and pursue new power generation technologies as they become commercially feasible.
